Quite a lot. With so much oil we all have to think about them, gone are the days of poor Russia, it's on the way back. Go visit Moscow and have a look. It's booming, new bars, hotels etc.

Think Putin will try change the law so he can stay in power.

Without a doubt, they are the evil empire under Putin. This man is determined to be the enemy of the US. He is obsessed with regaining the status of great military power, if not greatest. He is probably, if not likely out to destroy the US, if he can. And, he will return Russia to a country with a dictator rather than democracy.

How sad is all that?

The country is a bit like a wild frontier. It is growing in many ways and trying to overcome many decades of difficulty. I have been there many times for business and love the place. The average Russian is very decent. It is a place that is growing business wise and has a fantastic culture. In many way it is a bit backward, but improving all the time. In their schools, children are taught to speak English now. Older Russians like it when you try to speak Russian. Get some books about Russian and read them! Orchay Spa Cebo, Dos Vadanya.

It is the home of some of the world's greatest writers and composers. The Russians are wonderful people, but unfortunately, their country has fallen into the hands of criminals, encouraged by the West's attempts to force capitalism on them. We should have let them change at their own pace.

he country was communist for 70 years, tried democracy and it has been hard, they have to come back to something closer to what they were in order to survive, it is like an alcoholic quiting cold turkey, the chances of success are slimier than if he goes on a program that let him quit drinking little by little, until totally sober, so now they are flirting with communism again

I know it gets cold there for sure and I have met some Russians who moved here, they seem nice and well educated, very bright people, also one of my brothers went there and he said it was very nice and the food was great, he went during warm time of year, he said the people were so friendly and helpful he couldn't believe it, He bragged and bragged about it and wants to go back.
