Yes, go to the site for the provider in which the cell phone you want to text is with. There will be a site you can access there that should say to send a text or something like that. It'll ask u for the phone number area code included and then you can enter your name or whatever then your text you want to send. I believe usually there are a certain amount of letters u may enter but maybe not.

Yes my sister and I do it all the time, The person with the phone (cell) would need your e-mail or vise/versa and once the cell phone person e-mails you their info. then the e-mail address er makes a reply. Verizon Wireless cell phones I know it can be done on.
