people constantly tell me to stop listening to the "lies of the liberal media", so i guess we had better define "liberal media", because something tells me that people who say such things don't know where certain information is coming from...

basically if you get your information from anything other than one source - Fox news - they think it's a liberal source...

that's also why Fox has the highest ratings (which is about 30 percent of the overall TV news market)... because they have no competition for conservative news and they have to go there...

you know... communists only have one source for news that always agrees with the state too?

William C: I was watching Fox News and they referred to "liberal Hollywood"... I found that amusing...

I really do not think that there is such a thing except in the minds of the conservatives. During the Clinton years they reported fairly on his problems but when they bring up the problems that Bush has caused or the death count in Iraq they are accused of being bias. Rush Limbaugh is going so far as to call them the drive by media. But he is wrong 90% of the time and just says what he does to create controversy so people will listen to his show.

If you support Bush, the liberal media is any member of the media that might question or hold to account George Bush.

In reality the liberal media is a lie concocted by the conservatives to deflect accountability for their failed policies and agendas.

The conservative media is a truth. Watch Fox News or ABC.

Attack the Messenger by Craig Crawford is a great book. Check it out!

Some who answer here object to knowing the bias prior to a story, when in reality, concealing the bias is to conceal part of the story.

A conservative or liberal think tank needs to be identified as such when being quoted, as it is apparent that both would have an agenda that might taint or embolden their press.

Free Speech TV is a good source, PBS is a good source. Christian Science Monitor can be a good source.

Common sense and none restricted in terms of willingness to explore. Liberals i guess are more intelligent in the sense that they make full us of the world wide web and it's many places where information can be collected and analyzed. In doing so the free thinking individual will come to a logical understanding of what is really happening the in the world and dismiss the lies told to us, or not resort to slander or bigotry, but back up evidence with sources to findings. There is no politics involved in our news, just see it for what it is and if what we see doesn't add up and make sense, we have every right to hold that thought and investigate further. Liberal and free thinkers are not ashamed or afraid to speak his/her mind. This I'm afraid you stereotyped folk love to pick up on and envy or hate.

They who live in a black and white world shall label any non-conservative bias news program 'liberal media'

In the words of GWB:
"If you're not with us, you're against us"

So, so sad.
Liberal media, by conservative definition is any news outlet that doesn't have a conservative bias. If it's a moderate, or if it's non-political--liberal. If it mentions global warming--liberal. If it won't refer to the O'Reily as more than a talk show--liberal.

We enable theatrical human beings purely by technique of gorgeous them. The ego feeds on interest. What you're describing would not sound like allowing, if you're actually not beautiful them promptly. that's type of like beautiful a baby who's throwing a tantrum. Any reaction in any respect, effective or adverse, reinforces the theory that the tantrum receives them interest. (it truly is a loose analogy—there are different kinds of tantrums.) i don't think conserving Christian beliefs that are literally not fundamentalist extremes helps fundamentalists. yet after we've interaction their discussions (all and sundry, no longer in basic terms life like or liberal Christians), after we well known their extremism in any respect, it fuels the ego and reinforces the habit, for this reason encouraging even extra extreme habit. Christian fundamentalists use rational discussions with them or maybe attacks adverse to them as justification for his or her moves. imagine how they might react if no human being paid any interest to them in any respect? that that they had ought to bypass to even more desirable extremes to get interest. the problem is one among ego, no longer idea.

You know what I want to hear? The news. I want to hear what happened. The liberal media do not report the news, they report their feelings. They add words to lead the viewer to a specific place. For instance. "The conservative think tank, the Truman institute, presented their findings today." The proper way to present this story would be to omit conservative. A non liberal media story would have gone like this. The Truman institute presented their findings today." If you pay attention you will hear little things like what I have presented here. What adding conservative to the story does is turn off many people who will simply dismiss anything the Truman Institute found because they are "conservative".
