Since I was a little kid I've always wanted to be a nurse but then my parents cannot afford it even i tried to work a partime job.
Now that I am marriage and living in United State but originally in the philippines, my husband and i decided to go to college and take the same course the he taking,Computer Information System. I hate mathematics I'm not good at it, that's my biggest weakness. Do you think that i can do better if i am going to take nursing or computer information System? i really dont have idea. I really want to go to college to have a very good future.I need your help people,your answer will help me alot and thank you alot for those going to give their time and effort to share their advice.Thank you very much and i will look forward for the answer.

It sounds like nursing is what you really love, so that's what you should go with. Financial aid is always an option. There's no reason you couldn't get some type of assistance - every little bit helps. And there will be no problem finding a job - people are always sick and/or needing care, so all you need to do is get the proper education. Research and persistence are the keys to succeed here. Congrats on self-improvement. Why not combine the two careers...both are in great demand in the marketplace: you will always be able to find work. You could go into many different aspects in the medical field
from robotics to becoming a medical technical writer to insurance work. If you like the caregiving end of nursing..being hands-on with patients, having computer literacy skills is essential to the mountains of paperwork required now in nursing..logging your day's patientload, etc.
Go to a career advisor at a university or even visit a local hospital to investigate the available positions. Good Luck! it sounds like you will be whatever you choose.

I recommend trying some nursing classes and see how you like that. It sounds like you are not really interested in Computer IS, and nursing is what you've always desired. You will probably do much better in nursing because you are interested in it. You don't want to be stuck in a career you don''t like for the rest of your life do you?

hey it all depend on what you like, i will recommand you to go for nursing..coz that is your dream..other wise this thought of not being able to be a nurse will creep
