I recently got this inventory counting job "auditing" more or less... and Im familiar w numbers but whats the best thing for me to do before I start I wanna be good you know... what things should you practice

I used to do an accounting job. and if the key pad is
789 at the top 456 in the middle and 123 and 0 at the bottom (from memory) you place the 3 middle fingers over the 456 and practice typeing in numbers . The first pointer finger only touches the 7410 the middle finger only touches the 852 and the ring finger only touches the 963. Congratulations on you new job.

Practice. Use a ten key on your computer key board.

I created a list of numbers on Excel, printed the list, then re-keyed it back into excel. I was able to use a formula (column a - column b should = 0 if they are both the same) to see if I was correct.

You can even use the Excel RANDOM function to create the list.

Keep your middle finger on the five and work around it. You will learn that 3 is moving your ring finger up one, 1 is moving your index finger up one, 7 is down, etc. Practice Practice. Just like keyboarding. ...oh, and yell andale arriba a lot

know where the numbers are! and get the program mavis becon teaches typing! that will help a lot you can probably find it at your local library

There are many keyboarding programs that you can purchase, taht will alllow you to practice using teh keyboard./
