As a resident of Chemung County, I was relieved and ELATED to hear that this monster is FINALLY off our streets! I can finally relax while my children are in school and stop worrying seeing children in the area playing outside. God Bless all the men and women in law enforcement who put their lives on the line every day to keep the world as safe as possible for the rest of us...thank you for all you risk and all you do every day! God Bless all the officers who've given the ultimate sacrifice in service to all of us! My prayers go out to all those who've lost their lives (especially the ones who've been injured and the state trooper who died as a result of trying to apprehend Phillips) protecting and serving but most of all to their families. No one can comprehend the loss you're dealing with but rest assured both they and the work they did will never be forgotten!
The only thing that will surpass this excitement is seeing him put away or better yet go to death row!!

I am so happy that creep is caught . How wacked is someone who escapes four days before release? Anyone who helped him should be charged as acessories to the murder of that State trooper.May he rot in the big house and have several "new" girlfriends.

Yeah, I heard about 45 minutes ago. I've heard that he supposely surrendered. It's great, I know a lot of people will sleep better tonight.

I heard that they spotted him this morning but I have not heard or seen online that he was caught. Unfortunately.
