Thats the problem with society, people are getting too scared to stand up to them so they get away with more and more. Bring back national service so they can spend some time in the army that'll sort the B'stards out

I'm sorry this has happened to you, unfortunately I think now it has come to the point where they should teach social behaviour right through the school curriculum from a very early age, studying cause and effect. Studies could address subjects like what part you play in society and what is the REAL meaning of respect, how to be assertive without violence, anger management etc. Many of these hooligans truly believe they gain respect by intimidation and this makes them tough. They haven't the brain to think otherwise as mostly they are inarticulate, illiterate and apathetic. They think the country owes them a living. Many (I know I'm generalising here) live on sink estates where drug dealing, fencing stolen goods and a lifetime on benefits is the norm. Their world does not merit respect for society. (No offence to those on benefits who would like to work if they could) This might brainwash a majority, and the rest should receive much much heftier penalties. This scum of society will be parents themselves one day, so this may help to bring about better parenting as well. Naturally , this will be lost on some of the total subs but it might enforce a general feeling amongst their peers that it is not acceptable. ASBOs clearly don't work effectively as many of these morons wear them like a badge ...it's their equivalent to a GCSE .....They should be removed from society for a very long time, without parole as they are not fit to be part of it. Short sentences or community service justs adds to their kudos amongst those around them.

this question worries me because what is being done here is generalising, just because someone wears their hood up over their heads does not mean they are going to be trouble, however it is a fact that some yobs do wear hoods which just happens to be the trend / fashion nowadays all the kids in our neighbourhood here in the northeast wear hoods yet they are never any trouble and to put everyone in the same catagory just scares people and spreads bad images, there are more problems with yobs that drink and cause trouble which should be more closely looked at, as for the trouble you have experienced, they were yobs, plain and simple over the years there have always been groups of teenagers labelled as troublemakers and always will be, like the mods / rockers /skinheads etc.i will always stand up for what is right as long as i am able to do so

You should do the same to their parents homes, these are the people that bought their kids up to be like that.
I know what you mean though, a load of kids down my way were vandalising the local ammienetys i went and told there parents (with the view of mind they woud like to know, so they could stop their kids doing this and stop them ending up having a shite life or prison) and i got nothing but shouting and abuse from there parrents saying there kids can do what they like. Never mind the fact the rest of us pay council tax for these local amenities!

Know exactly how you feel. It's happening all over Britain. Feel sorry for what they've done to you. Unfortunately while Parliament, the Judiciary and the police seem to be actively supporting the yobs rather than the victims there's not a lot we can do. Modern Britain UUgghh!!

parents have no control over there kids, they think they can do what they want. But they will come unstuck,,U hear about these kids who get raped and murdered. They think they are untouchable but every dog has its day.U might think i am sick but its true.Bring back National Service,Bring back Borstals.Teach these kids a lesson.Teach them a lesson they will never forget.I was smacked as a kid,it taught me right from wrong but never made me want to go out and take it out on anybody else.It made me a better person.i have a full time job,own place and i have a great life, cause i was taught morals and to treat others how i wanted to be treated.

am so sorry to hear that, but as long as we allow them to bully us and by we I mean society as a whole not just you and me they have the control.
People have to stand up and say "Enough":. Make it clear that you will only vote for someone in the next council, general election who will put HUMAN back in human rights. Not anarchist supremacy groups but people with strong moral values regarding what is acceptable.
Everyone and his neighbour seem to be moaning in England but no one seems to be rallying people to shout "Enough"

They'll be chavs..try being at school with them..they don't give a **** there either, its the parenting and who they hang around with..its not all of this generation, its the ones who think they can do anything and get away with it, its so hard at school to learn with them there.
