another words if i say someone did some stuff blablbla can the deans ligitamitly get me introuble if it was not on school grounds or during the school day?

nothing threatening at all, but citrianly somehting that they wouldnt want to get out, somewhat like gossip?..im not a girl tho its not like that

but does the school have specific authority to punish me for my excercising of my first admendment rights off campus, and no its not a private school

i just think its bs that i am punished in school for something i didnt even say in the freaking school, it didnt hurth the school. if someone can call bush a nazi and burn flags i cant say that someone got pregnant and had an abortion and mention names?

Certain things yes, such as threats that could make a student feel threatened at school. Other things no, so it demends on what you said.

its America but you gotta go to school. But if its the true well the true is better than fiction. You didn't start it so who ever did is the person who needs to keep their mouth shout. If the dean has ya cornered tell him the true; what and who said what. Its not your fault.There is always the principal and the school board and other teachers that will help. Dont feel alone

Generally, if the comment does not harm the school, and it occurs off school grounds, then the school has very little to say about it.

The exception is if it is a private school, and part of the enrollment contract allow the school to consider your activities at all times.

Does it really matter where you say something? Is that what's inportant here, or is what you say the important issue?

I think we are all pretty much responsible for what we say - regardless of where we say it.
