Are you talking about the state of Alabama in the USA?
Very southern state, very beautiful gulf coast & very beautiful upstate with mountains and lakes.
Racial discrimination is everywhere.
Check with states official website or individual cities and towns websites for the job market info.'

Alabama is beautiful, just like what their license plate says.
Depends where you go in Alabama regarding racists. Unfortunately the Klu Klux Clan still remains active in the Southern States including Alabama. They are allowed to hold marches on the street because of America's freedom of speech act,the USA really needs to change that as a Klu Klux Clan march is 'discriminatory' against other non white human beings. They think whites own North America when really we educated people know that the 'red' men(natives) were here first. I don't live in Alabama but have been every year since I was little because my grandparents had a condo in Gulf Shores. My grandparents friends brought their adopted son who is black and he was fine, some stares because the area was predominintly white. If you do move there I would move to a larger city like Birmingham or Mobile, larger populations have more cultural diversity and tend to be more polite with a diverse society. I'm not sure about the job market but I'm sure if you have some schooling, you will have no problem. Be proud of your race and just ignore racists as they are the trash of our society.

Alabama is as stereotyped as any state in the entire US. Most people will tell you that Alabama is full of hicks, hayseeds, incest victims, racists, sexists, bigots, and homophobes. You will find that some of the biggest racists and bigots live in places like Massachusetts and Connecticut, that are normally stereotyped as "tolerant" and "above everyone else."
In reality, Alabama is just like any other state in the nation. If you have something to offer society, by way of business, you will fit in there as well as anywhere else, especially in larger cities like Birmingham and Mobile.

if you like incest, and bigotry, yes.
Alabama has too many yahoos.
racism against asians is prevalent everywhere in the USA, just less so in big cities that are integrated like new york, boston, and san francisco. racism is highly prevalent in places where it is largely white, and there are no other asians around. the south is largely white, and old school (blacks associate wtih only blacks, whites with whites).

It's like any other state. Yes, there are racists, but there are racists everywhere. It's miserably hot in the summertime, I can say that.
