Is there somekind of unwritten guide to say what determines a celebrity? Is it entirely plausible that whom one person considers to be a celebrity, can't be consider a celebrity by someone else?

Well, I consider people like Mike Krahulik, Jerry Holkins, Ryan North, Jeffrey Rowland, Chris Kohler, Lore Sjoberg and Jonti Picking to be celebrities, but I can guarantee that you have never heard of any of them. I would define it as simply "a person who has fans/admirers."

A celebrity is someone that people wants to know stuff about like what they are doing, who they broke up with, who they are with and who the paparazzi follow and magazines writers try to get an interview with.
