Alright so, my 18th birthday is coming up in a little over a month... So far, I've considered going to a show at an old 1930's theatre in Hollywood, then out to eat somewhere or asking some favors to get into this expensive, exclusive "magic castle." My brother thinks I should looking into scuba diving off of the coast of Catalina. My mom thinks I should do something with hot air balloons. My dad thinks I should go spelunking. There's also this pretend dog-fighting thing I could look into. Obviously all of these are going to have a limit to the number and age of people attending. So what should I do? Anyone have any other ideas?

To clarify a few things: Anything I'd do, I'd do with mostly just family. I have no zeal for my future, I'm a sophmore in college and have absolutely no clue what I want to do with my life. So, the idea of "preparing" or "moving forward in preparations"- just not going to happen right now. I love the idea of helping others and giving back to the community, but that should be a regular thing. My birthday I want to spend with my family.

I have few more options for you..
1. Pray god that he has given you good life till now
2. Spend time with your family & friends, you don't get that special 18th b'day again!
3. Have fun.. start focusing on what you should do for your future, after all you are just stepping into a so called mature world.
4. If you like to do some social work, spend time with less privileged kids. This gives you more satisfaction than any of the options you have mentioned in your question.

I can understand your exact feeling. It can be overwhelming to turn 18. Advanced birthday wishes.
Be nice. Have a candle lit dinner at home. Share good/bad things with family. That will help you become closer.
Call your old pals whom you have been always thinking of calling but somehow never got the time. Go for a drive.

Just celebrate your birthday with your parents, brothers, sisters and your friends. Serve and taste tasty foods and think that you have lost 18 valuable years of your life.

First you help someone who need help and after that you fell happyness in your heart.so do something 4 other 2 make them happy.then u can enjoy anything in your life.Think about this.

celebration means a distribution of our happiness to others. it's mean that you enjoy to be adult in few days so do something that you really grow up and which make u happy too so that everybody can enjoy.

I think you should scub dive in the morning.Eat lunch at a great place on the beach.Meet friends at a paint ball park after lunch. loosing team having to pay the winning teams way into the magic castle that night.DO IT ALL!!!!!!!

well i think scubadiving is the best out of your choices
but going to the beach is so awesome
