People are saying the X-box 360 is crap and has too much updates and is a waste of money, is that ture?

The 360 is crap, it is made in the u.s.a so the workmanship is sub-par at best. The 360 has already had a recall due to overheating power cords, plus the 360 tend to freeze up during game-play and they overheat way to much causing it to red light and fry the circuit boards. The extras you have to buy for the 360 will cost you just as much as the PS3 will out of the box, the 360 need a network card for wireless Internet and a high def DVD drive as well. 6 of my friends have a 360 and 2 have said that they love it and the other 4 said it was a big let down and a piece of crap, and just the other week my friends 360 red lighted and is now dead, Microsoft said that there was nothing they could do seeing how his 6 month warranty was over. I would go with the ps3 for sure or even the Wii before i would get the 360.

You'll get a lot of Sony fanboys telling you the 360 is crap. The truth is, it just depends on what type of games you want to play.

For FPSs, the 360 is going to be the way to go. Unless they alter the analog sticks on the PS3's controller (and it looks to be almost exactly like the PS2 controller), FPSs are going to control poorly on the system, like they did on the PS2 more often than not.

If you want RPGs, the PS3 will probably be the best choice, just like last gen. 360 is getting a few big names like Blue Dragon and FF11, but the Xbox was very unpopular with the Japanese market and I don't expect the 360 to do much better, and RPGs are much, much bigger in Japan than they are in the US and European markets.

The PS3 will also have the typical strong third party support that Sony has enjoyed since they made some good business choices with the PSX... that is, unless the sales aren't that hot. Then I would expect third party developers to start branching out to other systems.

And of course, if you want something new, the Wii will be there for you.

i wouldnt say its crap its a good system its just the direction they took this time might of been a mistake a little bit the part that might be a mistake is because now instead of focusing on the gamers they are trying to get people who dont play videogames to play videogames and they had good ideas of doing that but the fact is they should of just focused more on the gamers cause you really make more money on the gamers and thats the part that will or might come back to shoot them in the foot or bite their butt or however you want to put it i am not saying its crap but they are going the wrong direction and this could really hurt them worse than the original xbox did the idea is to learn from your mistakes from the previous time true but i think the idea they took just might of made it a little worse i cant say if the xbox is the best system or what system is frankly i liked all the systems and the games they had even though i never played every system but i like everything even the xbox 360 i just think they need to do better if they want to be number 1 and this way that they are doing is not going to cut it for them i think this will come back and just bite them on their butts and if they are not careful and they keep this up this could ruine them out of the system buisness i know this is only their second time to making a system but if they dont watch themselves it will be over for them fast and right now i think they are running into a mistake the way they are taking i think was just a mistake and in the long run isnt really going to make them that much money also on the side note i agree with the first person and the last person i think it was i didnt agree with the person who said 360 was crap its not crap its just not going in the right direction but it is still a good system so is the ps3 the nintendo will and all the systems before them were each had their own unique style and games but the 360 is going to need more than whats it got if microsoft wants to prove to be the best they need to improve and right now this direction they took isnt going to help them any i think this way may hurt them a lot more than help them but i guess we will have to see when they race again to see who holds and so far sony still holds the top spot so right now i assume for microsoft to even get top right now sony will have to screw up somewhere which right now its too soon to tell but dont get me wrong i like all of them they all get my vote it dont matter whats the best as long as i can play the games i like its when i cant play them that i get upset which right now thats a lot cause right now there are games on other systems and hand helds i would like to get a hold of but have no money right now to do so doesnt mean they suck cause of that but it makes me upset though
