Sounds like a wierd question but, if its been used and left out for about a month would it rot in that time or go a funny colour?

more detail... have found used condom in husbands drawer, he said he used it whilst masturbating.....there is red stuff on the outside of it.. could it be the lubricant or something else much worse? Is it possible it would change colour?

I will address everything I can think of that might be a red substance on a condom.
Blood......No, blood turns a copper brown when dry it does not retain the red color of fresh blood after drying..
Lipstick... Possible, lipstick retains it's color even when dried
Jello... Possible, (see lipstick) Jello would also retain a scent..
Lubricant: Possible, (see lipstick) most personal lubricants with a red color also have a scent usually a strawberry or other fruit scent scent..
Semen inside of or on the outside of a used condom will change color and consistancy.... When ejaculated semen has a translucent white color and is the consistancy of mucus... When semen is dried it is white in color and will flake if in a thin sheet and crackle if in a thinker sheet..
A month old used condom will no longer be pliable it will have dried out and retain it's laying shape when picked up, It will not however have rotted away...
The only way to determine for certain what the substance is would be to take the condom to a lab and have them run tests on the red substance...
If you believe your husband is lying take the condom to a lab and have the substance tested... In the meantime either avoid sexual contact with your husband or use a condom as you are not sure when his bit has been..

OK Forest Gumps Wife who in Sam's hill asks a question like why on earth would you want to keep a used condom. if it is that serious for you to save a keepsake I think you should really consider finding something more hygienic.

It doesn't just sound like a weird question, IT IS A WEIRD QUESTION!!! I hope you're not expecting a serious answer. The only way to get that would be to have a reasonable explanation as to why you are asking, ie. a science project.

ok this is gross....but i say throw the condom in the trash.And your husband is up to no good. if he was pleasing himself why hide the condom. something is not right. is would be even weirder if you and him are not using condoms. you might need to speak with him
