I reckon it would be fun to be famous, but I would not want to be a movie star or rock star because it's just so nuts with the papparazzi's these days and the slander in the soft news media.
It would be kewl to have a few peeps say "hey...that's HER"! I would be keen on being famous as a hero, or a scientist, or a semi-famous pianist/singer. I wish I could have been like the Croc Hunter...such a fantastic wildlife advocate.

I'd rather be important than famous. Fame comes with too many paparazis and rumors.

Yes, but not for singing or acting. I would want to be famous for sparking controversy or for my charity work.

No. I don't need everything I do to be captured on tape nor on film. Then, there's the bunch of people ready to gloat and criticize your every mistake as if you aren't human.

Fame ain't what it used to be. Back in the day, it was all about mystique.
Today, it's about finding dirt on you, putting it online & bringing you down.
I'll take money over fame ANY day....
