It happened to me. Go to the BMV and just give them proof of who you are(like a bill, social security card. ect..). They already have your info on file. All they will do it reissue you the same card but take a new picture.
It took me, 10 minutes top.

just go to the dmv. i lost mine in an airport and never recovered it so i just went to the dmv and they gave me a new one
