I am not sure how many people do but I know that I did. I threw up once @ the beginning of my labor (after the pitocin was given to me) and after my delivery (when the pitocin and epidural were beginning to wear off). It wasn't bad. I felt a little nauseous then threw up a little in a bucket and I was better
Throwing up is the least thing going through your mind when you're in labor.

I did during my first labor. It honestly depends on if their is something in your stomach. My second labor they induced so I couldn't have anything to eat or drink before(it was a planned delivery). During my first one I ate too many ice chips while I was in labor for 16 1/2 hours and so when I had to push for about 3 hours I ended up getting sick several times.

Three babies here.
Never puked at all in labor with the first.
With the second, I threw up in labor. It was a fast labor.
With the third, I thought I was in labor one day and have antibiotics from my MW (GBS+) and the ABX made me puke. When real labor came a few days later, I might have puked once then too, can't remember for sure.

Everyone I know did. Some think it was due to the pitocin (if they were induced) others said it was just a part of natural labor. But it isn't like the flu. Most hospitals won't let you eat or drink, so it's a tiny tiny amount.

I didn't with my first but it was just because I was in labor 30 hours and they don't let you eat. I tried, but there was nothing to throw up. But, I did throw up with my 2nd child. I think it is very common.

I had a natural birth with my daughter. I did it vaginally with no drugs and right before I had to push I threw up three times. It helped out a lot though. The nurse said that was the best kind of pushing I could do. Two more pushes later, my daughter was born.

I didn't, but I was prepared for the possiblity.
I've also been a doula at a few births and they all threw up. Usually it means things are almost over when the emesis pan is needed. So throwing up is a good thing.
