Since the internet has become so big on meeting people have you met someone special that you have talked to for a few years and wish you could be with? Married? Single? Divorced? whatever the case may be.

SEVERAL years ago I had a friend move from the USA to Australia to Marry a girl he had never met.
I swear we thought he was gonna be canabalized in the outback by some man freak. He was like "but I've seen a picture.."
I was like, "it probably came with the frame!"
Nope, they got married, she was sweet. Turns out there is a shortage of "nice guys" in Australia, they tend to be kinda "macho" over there.

Another friend of mine was with a woman who hated him, and he finally got the guts to break it off, and he moved to Sweden to marry his internet love. I've never seen him so happy, and wanted. It was a blessing for him. He was a new man.

To be honest, both these guys were kind of not "A list actors" (if you know what I mean... but they found women who loved them, and respected them, and they were REALLY happy. The local girls were just too small a pond I guess.

Yes it works . I have nice experiences . Some how it did not work well in my case , But the lady I met is quite cute. We still long for each other but few things are not in our hands.We are good friends . I am still looking for a souil mate and even she is doing the same .

yes actually.. and sometimes i think its pathetic for me to be in love with someone i've actually never met! lol but we've known each other for years now and he's one of my best friends and i love him to death... he lives in NYC and i live in Id so we dont ever get to see each other but we talk on the fone for hours all the time... and we email and everything so its cool..but ya gottta watch it with some of those internet pl man! i've met some really weird freaks on here! ahh! lol

Yes, well, not for years, for months is more like it. It's so frustrating. The distance is a killer and you don't really get to meet them if they live extremely far away.

um, well im in high school, but I found this question interesting. yes, i met some one online. we are talking and what not. before you say that is dangerous, i met him on myspace and he goes to my school. so i probably would have met him anyways. he is in one of my classes!

yes i had met someone i feel in love with..3 years ago..later she left me for high paying job back east! now, im single again..im cool with that.
