I just finished reading like the awesomest book(s) ever! The titles are Twilight, and New Moon. in a short summary, they're about this girl isabella. she comes to a small town called Forks. She meets a mysterious boy, and falls madly in love with him. She discovers that he's a vampire, but ignores that fact, and it's really sweet.
I soon became addicted to these books, and i just finished them. I am in desperate need of more vampire novels! i already have read all the cirque du freak books, and i am aware of anne rice. I am interested in young adult novels, and i really want one that sucks me in. Any Suggestions?

Omg that series is the absolute best. There is another sewries where this high school girl falls in love with a vampire. Its called Vampire Kisses. I think there are four or five of them I am not quit sure im still on the second. They are by Ellen Schreiber. Its great in comparison to Twilight. The girl is a goth tho who loves vampires.

That REALLY sucks you in? One series stands out in my mind, besides The lord of the Rings.

It is The Wheel of Time, by Robert Jordan, who weaves an incredibly real and detailed world where young adults are the heroes fighting for and against powers that threaten to destroy the world- magic and power, and vampires, and witches, and different cultures and battles and romance... blood, gore, humor, and thought-provoking stuff. Good for teenagers, and college students have written these on the books. Hooked me from the beginning.

Another good vampire book I really enjoyed when I was a teen was Barbara Hambly's "Those Who Hunt the Night". I also love Stephen King's works. Try the "Eyes of the Dragon".

Try "A Great and Terrible Beauty" by Libba Bray. It isn't vampires, but it is dark magic and otherworldly stuff. It's set in London during the Victorian Age at a school for girls. The heroine is a 16-year-old girl. She's different from the other girls, and not just because she grew up in India. There's magic, evil, and a little forbidden romance, too.

It isn't "young adult" exactly...but have you read Salem's Lot? (Stephen King) It will make the hair stand up on the back of your neck, guaranteed.
Another book you'd probably love is The Other by Thomas Tryon. Not vampires, but very chilling and what a story!

Sunshine by Robin McKinley

Rae 'Sunshine' Seddon is happy in her life, baking cinnamon rolls and breads for stepfather's coffeehouse. One night she decides to go to the lake for some peace and quiet. One mistake. She waits too long. For in Sunshine's world, vampires are real, though seldom encountered in her neighborhood. Instead of instant unknowing death, she is captured by a group of night-stalking vampires and chained in an old mansion. But she is not alone. There is another vampire there, also chained, and very hungry. And she is within his reach...
