Use a scientific calculator. Do you see the button that has a little root symbol, a y in front of the root symbol, and an x in the root symbol?
Type the number you want the root of, then hit that y root x button, then punch in what root you want (in this case, 0.8).
Some calculators vary, so test this method by using 8 as the x, and 3 as the y (root). The answer should be 2.

You need to use a scientific calculator
Find the symbol where there's a small letter x beside a root
Example: type .8
then, type the symbol aforementioned
next, type the number that you want to find the 0.8 root
It's as simple as that!
