If your Dr isn't concerned with your son's weight, then you're probably doing the right thing with your meal plan for him.

The research nowadays is saying that the tendency towards obesity can start in the very young formative years. You sure don't want your baby to be obese & then have a life time of weight problems.

Stay with your Dr's advice about his weight.'

You are doing wonderfully. I have an 11 month old daughter and I know that trying to feed them can be a pain in the butt sometimes. Shes going through this stage where she wont eat unless shes feeding herself/lol what a mess!

Let him snack during the day also, like crackers and yogurt is great, etc. You're doing great and have nothing to worry about. Mommy's learn from experience and asking other mommys for their experienced opinions.

odds are that either you or dad were a thin child, dont concern yourself if your dr isnt worried, he probably just has a high metabolism, my daughter was very thin and still is. but she is healthy. so just continue to feed your son what you are now and when he wants to boost his food intake he will let you know.

I have a long and skinny daughter who eats like yours. Your son sounds just fine. He will tell you if he's hungry. Babies have a knack for taking what they need and no more. Keep up with the good work!

You r doing fine.Dr. knows the best. What is imp is if Ur baby is active..if he is then there is no problem.Health is imp then being fat or plump. So dnt worry..just take care that you don't feed him too much fat foods..which may lead to cholesterol in his future life.
