Offense-
Dunk (Well a dunk)
Lay up or lay in (A close shot that is usually made while running towards the basket
Free throw (Free shot after foul)
3 pointer ( three point shot outside the 3 point line)
Floater ( A shot that gets its name from its floating properties
Crossover (A quick dribble switching hands that usually throws off defender)
Assist (Pass made to player for a basket)

Defense -
Block (Blocked shot attempt)
Rebound (Both offensive and defensive, happens during missed shot attempt where player retrieves ball)
Steal (Ball stolen from offensive player)

Fouls -
Holding - (Defensive player holds offensive player)
Charging - (Offensive player displaces defensive player while defensive player is set)
Blocking - (Opposite of charging)
Body - (Hard contact)
Flagrant - (defensive or offensive player uses unnecessary force - results in 2 shots and ball)
Technical - Unsportsmanlike conduct and other violations

Violations
Traveling - More than two steps taken with ball
Double dribble - Dribbling then touching the ball with two hands and dribbling again
Out of bounds- Out of bounds
3 in the key - 3 seconds in the key results in turnover
Defensive 3 in the key (only in NBA where defensive player is more than a certain distance from the person they are guarding for more than 3 seconds usually in the key)

So many... Dunk ,Rebound, Steal, Shooting, Double Dribble(not allowed) Charging, Offensive and defensive fouls, Back -court violation, off-sides, Passing. 3- points, 2 points and foul shoots.
