Yes a person is MORE than a physical body. People that pick their mates based on what their partner looked like when they were 18, or so --- seldom last long with that partner.
A partner that builds you up rather than tear you down is much more desirable than a pretty face.

A mind currently controls your body.
You live in that body.
You are in control of that body since you live in it.
With out a mind we cannot judge right from wrong.
With out that substantial portion of brain that lets us differ judgemental thoughts, we cannot think.
If you are not thinking you are not alive.
A rock is existent but it is not alive.
Neither is any matter that exists with out a function of some sort.
With out judgemental thoughts you cannot live.
Every thought you specifically think is a judgement.
Should I say this, should i say that.
Will I do this, will I do that.
With out brain function you are dead.
And there is no option that you can effectively make.
A "ghost" cannot choice to walk around since it does not contain a limbic system with in it spiritual essence.
Maybe there is another complex aspect to reality.
Maybe you can perceive but cannot think.
Maybe what ever controls you is a thought that has not left your spiritual body.
That is what makes you stay spirited.
A simple electric neuron of unique existence,
That you just can't seem to let go.
This might just be why there is such a thing as "Ghosts."
This is not the afterdeath, this is the invisible reality that exist around us.
For instance.
When I breathe out air on a cold winters day it becomes steam.
A constant breathing of warm air, would leave constant steam.
As soon as the source is gone the essence of the source is gone.
Maybe you can still hang onto thoughts afterdeath.
As long as your essence of existence is trapped will it continue to give off energy
To say the complete essence of your breathe is still there when you breath out is ridiculous.
It disintegrates and fades away.
This is what most likely happens when you die.
I myself believe in the misjudged theory of reincarnation.
You can assume no baby has a spirit when it is suddenly made.
Just maybe at the exact time you die your dead essence of being is sucked in by life.
It's a crazy thought.
But maybe life should have a continued cycle like everything else in the world.
Let's assume you were going to put the theory of reincarnation in the breathe of the steam metaphor.
Instead of the steam just fading away it gets sucked into a source that draws it in.
It's only a speculation and a crazy one at that.
There is such a thing as astral projection.
Which you can do when your alive.
That does not necessary prove the afterdeath since you are alive when it reportedly takes place, and there fore can let your essence go where ever it wishes.
It's a secret unknown world.
Things unknown may never be known.
If you experience the unknown, then you must know that it is not unknown, for you know it.

a individual is extra suitable than his actual physique because of the fact there is somebody interior our physique that governs our activities. recommendations additionally applications on the command of that necessary difficulty basically like our mouth, hands, and legs. recommendations types out the counsel and shops the counsel notwithstanding this is our know-how that analyzes the counsel and makes the spectacular decision approximately our action. in lots of cases we bypass against our own recommendations and hear the middle. What makes us try this? there is likewise yet another difficulty that like keeps taking pictures like a digicam or how could we see our living house in Bombay on an identical time as we are in new york? Our inner-self is as authentic as our outer self yet we are too related to the outer self that we expect of of ourselves because of the fact the actual physique yet we are so plenty extra suitable than that.

Some have argued that the physical world is the greater mystery. We trust our senses to tell us about the world we live in. But my reality is different from yours. Our own perception is the greatest variable and so it is in the ability to think that we know we exist. "I think, therefore am" Descartes.
The truth is that we know we exist but not where we exist.
