I had a friend that did that on New Years Eve a long time ago. He was pretty drunk and didn't even notice until he got to the end of it.

OMG! When I worked at a bar we had a class about spotting people who had had too much to drink. One of the signs was lighting the wrong end of a cigarette and another was if they light a cigarette when they already have one going. I cracked up because I do both of these things all the time when I'm totally sober, just not paying attention!

Many times when drunk. Usually notice pretty fast tho.

When I did smoke, I did it a few times and noticed every time. I was a whole week watching not to do it again.

lol me too new year's last year and sadly it was my last cigarette that i had left and i was so drunk i couldn't figure out why it wouldn't lite!
