I know they have pads you can buy at the shoe store made so that you can put extra cushion in the shoe. Try one of those

Soak your feet in foot soak and that will help. Be sure to wear a good pair of socks. The shoes need time to soften up and then they will quit blistering your feet. In the mean time you can put a large bandaid over the back of your feet, this will keep the shoes from rubbing your skin. Hope this helps.

Try this: Put cotton balls in your shoes in the back, right under your heels. This will raise your feet up just enough to relieve the pressure, and the shoes will sit at a spot that is not as sensitive or easily blistered. In a week or two, you'll break the shoes in, and won't need the cotton balls anymore.

These are friction blisters, that form when the back of the shoe rubs constantly against your heel.............hard to believe that you have never experienced this before. (You are lucky)
The shoes are rubbing more than they should. They may be too loose.
Put a band-aid over it and it will feel better. Make sure you wear socks or knee-highs at least to protect that blister or it will get worse or maybe infected.

They are rubbing against the skin on the back of your feet. They are either too tight or the msterial is too hard. They will probably soften up and stop hurting after a while whe you break them in.

It has to do with the earth being too close to the sun. An atmospheric pressure increases the likelihood of blisters. It should stop after daylight savings time.

There are pads for the back of your feet, put on thicker socks, or get new shoes.

Yeah, it's because of your new shoes. You can continue to wear them until they no longer bother you. It wont be long before they feel comfortable again.
