Save a planet, get 'friendly' with a girl, very briefly anguish over the death of the crew member in the red shirt who died near the beginning of the episode, kill a spy on the Enterprise, make a dramatic yet insightful comment about the human race or life in the universe. And of course he would boldly go where no man has gone before.

Well, he'd be close to or a little older than 70 now, so he'd probably put his jammies on, get his Jack D. and chill. This show originally aired on NBC on Friday nights after "The Wild, Wild West" (on CBS) with Robert Conrad. I did my clubbing on Saturdays so I wouldn't miss "Star Trek." It was always a bummer when it was over.

In perfect accordance with the prime directive, he would transport down to the planet's service, start arming the local populace against their enemies, denounce their "superstitions" (religion), eradicate the local troublesome wild animal, find a local girl who has barely developed the capacity to speak, make sweet love to her at the Temple of the God he has just killed, send her on her way and order the Enterprise to aim its weaponry at the Temple to liberate these poor souls from their centuries of oppression. Then, he'd beam up, leaving the girl, her tribe, and a transformed planet behind and get Spock in his quarters to figure out how they will explain it all in their log without being court-martialed.

Unfortunately, as they said at his TV "roast" Kirk has boldly let himself go. And he was such a handsome man. Years go we met Leonard Nimoy. In person was just as quiet and unassuming as on the show. I miss that bunch along with many of the old shows. A lot of the new stuff is dreck.

LOL. It's very difficult to follow any of these answers. They're all equally priceless. My guess is that he would stay as far away from any Star Trek conventions that he is aware of.

You know, I remember sitting down to that very first episode. One of my older brothers made it a point of tuning in, and I was just curious. A Trekkie (although I've never been to a convention, or joined one of the fan clubs) was born right there and then.

Nothing.

They killed him off remember.

Now they want to bring him back as Matt Damon. One speach impediment down. One more to go. Some how it just won't be the same with a Boston accent.
