Anyone here would be a fool to diagnose you or give you advice other than the following:

Call your doctor.

I feel like a pro at this--i have a 23 mo old son (pregnancy still fresh in my mind) and i am now 11 weeks pregnant.
Period-like cramps are TOTALLY NORMAL at the beginning. In fact, both of my pregnancies, i went out and bought tampons thinking i was on it but there was no period.... I felt them the first time and i felt them again a few weeks ago.
The thing is: when you are 2 weeks "pregnant" you are in fact barely conceiving. They count your weeks of pregnancy from the first day of your last menstrual period. So, 2 weeks later, you are barely ovulating and thus conception occurs 2 weeks into your pregnancy. Look it up, i have just read up on this, promise!

So, when your egg is being fertilized, it then gets released into the uterus for implantation in the endometrium. Usually if you weren't pregnant, this would then cause menstruation a couple weeks after ovulation, right? That's why you get those cramps similar to your period...it is normal at the beginning.

If you are getting period like cramps further (i mean 12-20 weeks or more) into your pregnancy then i would strongly suggest you go to the doctor or simply pick up the phone and call!! It could be as simple as your round ligaments stretching to accomodate for the growing uterus. But it may also be more serious...so please call the doc!!!
Take care and go to all those websites that answer all your questions better than anyone here can (except me, lol!!!).

Slight cramping, like period cramps are normal in early pregnancy. It is your uterus starting to strech, and change to accomidate your baby. No worries. If the cramping gets bad, then go to the hospital, like if the pain is a 5/10 or more.
(0 being no pain and 10 being worse pain of your life.)

perchance that's plugged or some thing? some thing is heavily incorrect, although. perchance bypass to the drug keep and get some Midol...take a number of that to assist with the cramps. Get contained in the well-known practitioner, it will be an outstanding component. positive you're literally not pregnant? Hmm, it is amazingly weird and wonderful. solid success!

You may want to see a doctor, however, sometimes, when the baby is attaching you will have cramps. How far along are you?

getting cramps is normal throughout pregnancy, but only if they aren't severe. if they are extremely painful or you're bleeding you need to see a doctor because there could be something wrong.
