Also, it's hard and shiny because it was cooked with my soup. I didn't realize it was in there, I just saw something brown and thought it was a burnt noodle.

Looks close to a Cinebar Caterpillar (Moth):

But it looks to hard and shiny. But it's definitely a caterpiller of a moth of some sort. Do you live close to the south?

The photos are not very clear, but it looks like the
larva of some kind of beetle. It does not look like
a mealworm, they are kind of pale yellow-brown
and not very hard.
