Don't mean to come across as patronising, but what u shud ask urself is it worth sacrificing beauty for the health of ur unborn baby?
Who cares if ur nails aren't done for a few months? Don't u think u have other more important priorites to think about?

I agree, don't go in these places for the ventilation of the fumes isn't adequate.
If you were worked at a company and they followed OSHA rules, you probably would not be allowed to work with chemicals like nail polish remover and other solvents. My wife's contains Acetone and others I've seen have toluene.
Using this stuff would be the same as smoking or drinking. Think of your baby, not your nails.

Here's what i think: Your nails are going to be so long and strong and beautiful naturally because of all the vitamins and hormones that you will not need or want to get fake ones.
With my first pregnancy, my nails actually looked fake because i applied Nailtiques or Nail Tek protein to them everyday....then i went to the nail salon and got a french nail polish job but no acrylics.
Good luck. :-) and Congrats...i'm 11 weeks pregnant with twins.

I didn't have mine done while pregnant, but I know people who did. You hear all kinds of stuff. I suggest you just ask your ob/gyn. Just call and ask the nurse, then you won't have to wonder!

The only person to accept advice from is your dr or midwife, there are too many scare stories flying around relating to pregnancy
