It'll remove the hair for sure. If you mean artificial tan I'd say no it'll just remove top layer whatever is soaked deeper will still be there.
If you mean real tan definetly no it's baked in hehe.

I don't think that would help get rid of a tan...is it spray on or natural? If it was spray on then maybe I'm not really sure though...I wouldn't use the stuff turns you orange sometimes

Nope, don't do that, that'll leave your skin chapped, rough and flaky. If it's a real tan, try a skin whitening product like SK:II, otherwise, you lots of makeup!

it dependes how dark is your tan...

if light then yes...
if dark then noo...
