Full name - Winston Spencer Churchill
He wasn't a great politician in times of peace but was the right man to be England's PM during WW2.
He served in South Africa in his younger days & was the First Admiralty Lord (during ww1).
He had made many erroneous military decisions - eg, the Gallipoli campaign, the invasion of Anzio - but was right to distrust Stalin & if he had his way, Germany wouldn't have been split after WW2.
He had made many famous quotes like "...We shall fight in the streets... We will never give up", "Never in the history of mankind has so much been owed by so many to so few"

~Duh. Is this question for real. Can anyone really be so in the dark as to not have some inkling as to who Churchill was. I mean, his significance was well established long before his PM days. I strongly suggest you spend less time f***ing off and wasting your life and learn to read. There's a whole world out here that you've probably never heard of and will probably never see.

PM of Great Britain during WW II. He and FDR were great friends. If not for those two I think that WW II would have turned out much differently. I feel the same about President Bush and PM Tony Blair now. We are in WW III now, and these two guys have been great allies. I think that eventually, these 2 will go down in history just as Churhill and FDR
