Of course they can but it is not that simple. They don't operate on the same level of logic like we do. Thier idea is that they need to start the end of the world, they see it as thier mission to make the teachings of the Quran come to happen.
And of course no matter what, even if they all get destroyed, it is thier mission to destroy Isreal and the US and all non Muslim nations.

Religion, the cause of all of this, will be man's downfall. None of the people involved, be they Christian, Jew, or Muslum, will admit to being wrong. The kicker is they all worship the God of Abraham. The same God gets blamed for all of this. If He does exsist, he must be disgusted or amused.

because there is the concept of OTHER PEOPLE, you know just because we think our way doesn't mean everyone thinks the same way...that is called ignorance to believe so...why do you think the Bush administration is so bent on fighting in Iraq...he understands that people don't think the same way as Americans think and you can't reason with someone who wants to kill you because you are different or don't believe in the same religion...
