There are many benefits. But,it doesnt matter if ur not circumcised as long as u keep the penis clean. There are 2 conditions which are common in uncircumcised males.its Phimosis(unable to retract the foreskin) and paraphimosis(able to retract, but it doesnt get back to its orginal position).Balanitis(inflammation of penis) is also common if its not kept clean.
On the whole, its personal prefernces,if u think ur doing fine with uncircumcised penis, thaz ok as long as u keep it clean.
Majority of the worlds population is uncircumcised and the parts where they are not circumicsed have the highest population.SO,its all good.

Many reasons. Some get it for religious reasons, such as for Judiasm or Islam. Many have it done to them with no consent during infancy. In these cases it's often because the parents believe the myth that a circumcised penis is cleaner or that it's significantly less prone to infections/STDs. Contrary to this believe, a normal healthy foreskin is really really easy to keep clean (easier than brushing one's teeth) and most studies cite no significant difference in infection/STD rates. There are even a few studies that refute the current research that states circumcision reduces HIV contraction rates.

A few either elect to have it done just because or for medical reasons, such as severe phimosis where the foreskin is too tight to be retracted behind the glans and erections are painful, or some injury or recurrent infections/irritations concerning the foreskin. Such medical necessities are rare, as problems with the foreskin only occur in like 5% of all uncut guys and only a fraction of this percent is severe enough to warrant surgical intervention.

Note that around 80% of the world's male population are NOT circumcised, and most of those people don't have any problems. So is circumcision necessary? No, in the vast majority of cases. There are many myths surrounding the foreskin in the US where many are still circumcised, but these are just myths. The foreskin is a normal part of the body, and isn't any dirtier nor presents any more risk of disease than any other part of the body.

There are a few RARE medical reasons. Mostly I think it's done for the same reason people pierce their noses and stuff like that - self mutilation is attractive to some people who have severe self-esteem problems.

A few women are selfish and shallow and ask a man to do go through all that pain and permanently decrease their enjoyment of sex because they don't like the looks of an intact penis. Good grief! Any man who gives in to that kind of pressure is to be pitied!

He should be grateful that his patents didn't have him cut before he had any say in the matter. Men with complete penises have much more sensation during sex. Actually it's better for the woman as well, as the natural penis is moister and goes in and out more easily.

So, barring the really rare medical problems, healthy men with their heads screwed on straight do not have it done, as there is no good reason to do it and thousands of reasons not to!

It can also have religious significance. Jewish babies are circumcised as a ritual, similar to baptising a christian baby.
