I constantly feel bad about the way I look and feel like my hubby might not find me attractive..............I tend to get jealous when he's around other females thinking that he will prefer them. I get hit up on alot and at work I've been asked several times if I've modeled before so I know I am somewhat attractive to other people but I have a really low self-esteem. Why am I like this? How can I change before my hubby gets tired of it?

Low self-esteem is a deep and complicated problem. If it's that big of an issue for you I'd recommend coulseling. However, my personal advice would be to look back into the history of your life and ask yourself who used to ridicule you and make you feel bad about yourself. Once you fully realize these people were wrong and only hurt you out of spite or jealousy you can begin to learn who you truely are rather than seeing yourself through their eyes.

How long have you been married? I believe that men (myself included) find it intriguing that other woman find us interesting. Maybe that is why your husband does what he does. He probably does not mean any harm by it, BUT, have you told him how you feel? If so, then something might be wrong and you will need to find out what it is. Another thing you should do, if you have that much low self-esteem maybe you should go see a doctor, you may be battling depression. All I can say is it worked for me, did therapy for 2 years and my self-esteem picked up and my depression is under control.

He chose you to marry and to commit to.
He obviously found you attractive. Unless you had some major physical change I'm sure he still does.
Remember he didn't just marry you because you were pretty.. He married you for the rest of the package as well> personality, wit, humor , compatibility.
Don't make a big deal out of something that is self made. It would be tiresome having to reassure someone all
the time.

"No man was ever yet a great poet, without being at the same time a profound philosopher. For poetry is the blossom and the fragrancy of all human knowledge, human thoughts, human passions, emotions, language."
