People tend to only think of school teachers as "teachers." When I was young, I learned the most from both my parents. So Mom and Dad were my best teachers. As a parent, my children continue to be excellent teachers when I reflect on life and how I approach it. As a school teacher, I learn from my students everyday. Yet, the greatest teacher in my life is my wife, and most of the time all she needs to do is listen.

Two teachers have ever impressed me deeply.
One was my high school Physics teacher to whom I had a major crush. :) Seriously. My unrequisted love had tortured for about 5 years until I finally fell in love with my university schoolmate.
The other one was my highschool English teacher who was really caring and respectable. Because of his good example, I chose to attend the same teacher's university he went to, though I eventually gave up being a teacher after graduate. :)

My band teacher at Terra Linda high school. His name was Robert Calonico and he has since moved on to bigger and better things. Check out the link below. He was the best teacher I ever had. It just took me awhile to realize how much he influenced my life.

My first grade teacher..I still remember her clearly and I am 33. She was the kindest, sweetest, most caring lady I ever met. Never have met another teacher like her.
