Premature birth! At four months gestation the fetus will not survive.

The girl MUST go to the hospital to save her life.

Miscarriages are not to be trifled with. The young mother could end up with an infection that could render her unable to have children after she is grown up and MARRIED.

If the water was to break at 4 months it does not matter if you are a teen or not, if this happens to any woman it is a sign of a miscarriage, the baby cannot survive outside the womb at that age, the baby is not fully developed yet so it would be imposible for the baby to survive. I would let your mom know about it or whoever is taking care of you so they take you to the hospital.

this is thoroughly available. This got here approximately to me final month at 21 weeks (5 months). i became into clinically determined with Incompetent Cervix and became into instructed if I have been given pregnant returned i might ought to pass in for the cervical sewing. this happens whilst the cervix isn't solid adequate to hold the child and the bag of water. It many times happens between 18-22 weeks. in case you think of you're leaking water you should pass to hard artwork & delivery, because of the fact in case you're dropping water this early there is fairly no longer something that they might do for you different than furnish the child. My female descendant did no longer stay to tell the tale.

Yes. A teen's body is not yet ready to carry a baby and often will have a premature delivery or a late miscarriage.
If you are 4 months pregnant and have had your water break, you need to get on the phone to your hospital and get in to be checked.

You may leak amniotic fluid, that's not good, see a hospital. At this point it is still considered a miscarriage, not a premature birth. On the good side when you're pregnant vaginal secretion of the normal variety increases, so it may be nothing to worry about.

When I was 15, my water broke when I was 16 weeks pregnant. I knew because I felt a gush after I got out of the bath tub. I went to the Dr's and it was confirmed. I lost the baby due to very low amniotic fluid about a week later. So, yes, it does happen. Not sure of your exact circumstances but good luck to you!

Yes, It Is possible...The teen body is not yet grown up enough to carry another human. If ur water broke, then you need medical attention right away!..It could harm you, and the baby's chances of living are none...

Yes it's possible and even if you don't have contractions you need to see a doctor or go to the hospital because if it did break and it didn't reseal it's self you could be at risk(and baby)of infection. And no baths or sex til you find out!

I understood what you were asking and I answered you on the last one. The other people were just being ignorant. Please call your doctor if you are having problems. Like I said on my last answer to you, I lost my baby girl last month due to my water leaking due to Incompetent Cervix. And this does not only happen to teens. I am 36.

only being four months pregnant, your chances of having a successful birth are slim to none. I hope this did not happen to you. You need to go see a doctor right away.
