My system includes 2 15 inch big peavey speaker, 1200 wats peavey power amplifier, 2 deck cd player made by next! NCD and a peavey 7 CH cd mix. It has only one microphone input. When I play the cd it sounds alright, but when I sing with Karaoke cd I am not too happy with the vocal. It does not have any adjustments for vocal except mic volume. No echo or any adjustments for vocal. Please advice me what to do, Do I need to replace the mixer? Thanks SK

When you ask a question like this you should mention the model(s) of your components. In this case I'm going to have to assume that your Peavey amplifier is a "powered mixer". You should not be plugging your mic into the CD player/mixer. You should plug your mic directly into one of the channels on the front of the powered mixer. These channels each have sound adjustment controls.
