Creatine. But stay away from the liquid. It breaks down to quickly before you get to consume it. Go with the powder and mix it in with juice when you are ready to take it. The juice provides the carbs that help it get absorbed quicker.

Muscle milk is good, though it has a lot of suger and fat in it to start. I normally use a regular Casein protein when not working out, And whey immediately after working out. Mix with creatine and that should be good. As far as losing weight in the process, just cardio 3 times a week and eat healthy.

I have always been a big fan of whey and egg whites, but my son has been making great gains using Muscle Milk, so I am thing of switching. I have a friend; former Mr Oklahoma that reccomends switching it up.

Creatine is also a must, I agree that it needs to be liquid.

Take liquid creatine...don't take the pills..they take to long...take it (2 teaspoons) BEFORE you work out...about 1 hour...it gives you an extra 5%-10% more uumph...if you know what I mean. I was benching 225's (10 reps) just last year...I'm in the 285 range now

I'm a fan of whey protein. I've felt it has always enabled to maintain my muscle mass while burning off unnecessary fat. I like something that is low in sugar, and usually has about 20 grams of protein per serving.

Most of those "protien" builders are junk. Too artificial, and expensive for what you get.

Try nuts or yogurt instead:
Peanut butter on celery with some raisins on top is sooo good.
Or yogurt with a bannana for breakfast.

Slimfast bars are pretty decent too, they have a good amount of protein, plus fiber and 1/4 of your vitamins for the day. The cookie dough flavor is the best one. You can ADD it to your diet if you aren't trying to lose weight. (you substitute it for a meal if you are trying to lose)

Whey, whey, whey.

A great lunch is also a non breaded boneless chicken breast, grilled however you like, and cottage cheese.
