It's so nice to have a forum to share your uninformed opinions. Having the correct facts would significantly increase your credibility.
George Ryan did not 'pardon' murderers - he placed a moratorium on their sentences after a Northwestern University journalism project completed a detailed investigation that the laws of Illinois were not properly followed.
Important details at the trials were omitted, and several convictions determined to have been wrongfully applied and sent back to lower courts for rehearing. New evidence, such as DNA, was uncovered which proved that several defendants could not have committed the crimes of which they were accused.
It amazes me how cavalier people can be about the right to a fair trial with all available evidence, especially for capital crimes. Every defendant is entitled to a fair trial under the US and Illinois constitutions.
To someone who is challenged with facts, I'm sure that is a minor detail. Let's hope you live a straight & narrow life and never run afoul of the law. I wouldn't want you to be a victim of a haphazard or arbitrary legal system.
