I know my husband loves me dearly, but if he suddenly started going out with friends, to the bar, making plans on the weekends that exclude me, I would know somethings up. Not sure how your relationship is now. If he is just avoiding sex, from experience, and he is around the age of 35 or up, he could be experiencing a sexual dysfunction which he will not talk about. As he feels less than a man. But the statistics show that more than 60% of men over 40 have some sort of sexual dysfunction. It is more common than society realizes because it too is hush, hush. Wish you and your husband all the best.

Does not look at you, ignores you, stays away from home as much as possible, walks around with a sour face all the time, begrudges every purchase you make, will not compliment you, gives you credit for nothing good that you do, will not compliment your cooking and, throws a wet blanket on anything that makes you happy, and #1 answer, when you light candles next to the bed, says are you crazy the cat is going to catch his tail on fire and burn the house down, not give you an anniversary present because dinner out was enough........oh stop me, that was just my ex-husband.

I always thought I'd notice 'signs'. Then one day, a friend's husband woke her up to tell her he didn't love her and their marriage was over. Just like that. She never seen it coming, there were no 'signs'. Now, I tell my husband I love him at least once a day (probably more like a dozen) and I really appreciate him.

Well he avoids you
doesn't do anything sweet anymore
sleeps on the couch
stays out later than usual
you ask these kinds of questions
Since you are married (I THINK)than you are probabley just having a rough patch but remember for better or worse this may just be some of the worse the preacher was talking about.

There could be lots of different signs for different people. Remember that your husband and you are 2 individuals and to stay together your relationship will go through many changes. But don't ignore signals or make excuses...Trust your instincts.

Love is hard to define, most likely he is resentful if you guys have not been having exciting sex on a regular basis. Or he is tired of being your meal ticket and is wondering why he got married in the first place. Or he despises your nagging etc. When he doesn't want to have sex or spend any time with you is when he doesn't love you anymore and if he is not trying to have sex then it is much past that...he finds you disgusting.

i agree, asking cant be a good sign to start off with.
he could be paying less attention to you. keep in mind, I mean a lot of attention is not on you anymore. Its normal if he doesn't pay attention to you all the time, but if theres a huge difference. or if he says i love you less often or shows that he cares.

I think when he no longer cares what you do or where you go. Ignoring you is not enough, he needs to just really not care anymore. Also, if you notice he tries to stay out of the house as much as possible, that is another good indicator. Good luck with your situation, and God bless.
