I watched it the other day, all I kept thinking about was the amazing talent of Jim Henson. But, I still enjoyed the film.

Yes it will bring back memories of your childhood. Have you seen the movie Labyrinth? It has David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly in it and it was made by the same people that did Dark Crystal. I love that movie too.

I was in the same situation as you. After I watched it again, I thought it was much better than I ever remembered. Plus, you learn to appreciate Henson and Oz's work, since you don't see many muppets any more!

It was the time of muppetteering as high art. If you love Jim and Frank now in retrospect, you have to give it another try...
