I would like to ask about the kind things people do for one another in relationships. Nothing that costs money. Just things you do that makes the life of you loved one happier or feel loved. What kind of tender things you to for eachother. You can say what you have done and why. You can talk about something someone has done for you. Please tell me the feelings attached to this action.

I will give an example that my ex boyfriend used to brush my long hair when I was tired of it because he wanted to help me. He loved me having long hair.

This should be nothing sexual and nothing purchased for the other person.

my ex husband used to wash my knuckles of my hands when we took showers together. He also used to rub my hair line by my neck. no one else has done that.

my boyfriend takes out the trash for me without me asking him. he also spoons me for up to 2 hours after he comes home from work (since i have to go to bed right when he gets home we do this to connect).

hope this helps.

Leaving random love notes .. could be slipped into a pocket or placed on the frig

Sending little emails while he is @ work to let him know I was thinking of him, missed him

Every morning as he slips off for PT (soldier) he kisses my cheek and whispers he loves me @ 430 in the morning

@ bed time we will cuddle with candle lights and talk about our day

Watching tv always has to be on the couch .. usually I am laying on his lap, while he is playing with my hair.

I swallow my pride and say I'm sorry
I rub his arm/ elbow before bed (he has a computer job)
I call him up when I am thinking of him
I watch his action movies with him

I "bother him" all the time:
I just follow him around the house and lovingly poke at him, and run my fingers through his hair to get his attention, or ask what he is doing. I always say "I wanna bother you" and he says "But I love it when you bother me."

I know it's stupid but I do the dishes and cook dinner. Me doing both shows him that I just want him to relax and enjoy what |I have done for him. Same goes with letting him pick the movie we watch or go for a walk.
