I was sitting on the couch at home waiting to leave for work. I saw the news that the first tower had been hit and immediately started paying attention. I saw the second plane coming around the building and turned to my husband and said "What the heck is he doing coming in for a closer look?". No sooner was it out of my mouth when it hit the second tower. I went to work and everyone there had gotten there before it had all started so I told them what I knew. They all scrambled for TVs and radios. We spent the rest of the day mostly listening to the news.

Yeah, I was driving into work, listening to a talk radio show (Imus in the Morning I do believe) when one of the guys who was doing a funny bit just stopped midsentence and exclaimed a plane had just hit one of the towers, apparently he was looking at the towers when it happened.... at the time, he was coming up with every possible explanation as to why the plane had hit the tower and I thought to myself, "It's obvious, we are under attack by terrorists." I hoped I was wrong, but I wasn't.
I was the Director for an Afterschool Program and that is all the older kids talked about that afternoon. They were so scared, and so happy to see their parents that evening.
I went home that evening and acquainted myself with the ugly mug of Osama Bin Laden as it was pasted all over the evening news. Man, I cannot stand that sick, twisted, evil, SOB!!!!!

The towers were hit during my freshman year of college. I was in my dorm room, getting ready for class, when I saw the incident on the news. It was scary because nobody knew what was going on. A lot of classes were canceled that day and it was extremely difficult to call anybody because everybody in the country was trying to call their loved ones to see if they were alright.

I was on the elavator at work ,one of the women said she had just heard that a plane crashed into the wtc, we all were surprised and amazed that that kind of thing could happen in this day and age. When we got upstairs it was on the tv, and seconds later they were reporting that a second plane had hit, and we knew it had to be terrorists.

Yes, I had just woke up and was getting ready for work. I don't know what made me turn on the TV because I never did but for some reason I decided to watch the news that morning.

I was in bed still about to get up for work and my mom ran to my room and said we are under attack. I watched 1 plane crash and both towers come down live. I was in shock!!
Work was canceled and I stayed glued to the TV set.

Yes, I was teaching Reading to my 2nd grade class. A coworker ran in and whispered it to me. An hour later I finally got to turn the TV on...it was worse than what I thought.
