You can either call the hospital directly first or just send the flowers and when they arrive at the hospital they will look up the room number.

Write the patients name in care of the hospital .There shouldn't be a problem. Or call the hospital to find out the room number for that patient. If you go to a florist just tell them when you would like the order delivered They should be able to deliver them that day or the following day.

Even if you don't know their room number, the hospital reception area has a record of the names of the patients and their room.

So you can just indicate on the card on your flowers the name of the patient as well as your contact number in case they have trouble finding the person.

You can place it the day-of when you know the room number. Don't send it too far ahead. Wait for the person to even check it; usually the room number isn't assigned until the person checks in. Once s/he is checked in, call the hospital for room information.

Find out the address of the hospital and have them delivered to the admissions desk with the patient's name. The admitting department will locate the correct room for you.
