I get my opinion because it's how I use to be! Doing onto others as I would have others do for me! Result I was a doormat a puppet. It's watching the T.V. program called My Name is Earl that makes me think that Karma is trying to tell me something.. cause no matter where I go trouble seems to follow me! I don't do anything to attract it! I think the trouble stems from others getting ripped off cause I got ripped off! At first before I watched My Name is Earl I was thinking about becoming like Alister Crane but I know that won't be good for me emotionally or even karma wise! So maybe I am suppose to make ammends for things!

You sound immature and prefer the canines is merely too strong for you. attempt being taken remote out of your mom and all of your brothers and sisters, then being put in a outside on my own. you'll cry for interest, too! canines are "%." animals, and also you're portion of his %., as your mom and pa are too, even if you wish it or no longer. attempt to make him aside of the %. (through bringing him interior) and he will strengthen fairly! canines desire interest, merely as you do, and are very dependable. canines specially howl even as they sense on my own or are scared; making him an interior canines can help this. he will sense like he's aside of the kinfolk. And that's unhappy because this canines sounds so lovey, and also you assert he's a whimp and also you'll't stand him. that's human beings like you who get a canines, then he doesn't stay as a lot as your "criteria" (after 3 days!!!!), and that i'm confident he will finally end up in a pound, or being rehomed (which isn't a nasty theory even if it really is a house with those who would like him and pay interest to him and make him portion of the kinfolk). My puppy change into SO connected to me that he pronounced me everywhere, and would whimper when I went into the subsequent room and he couldn't see me. i'd pass back and get him; and that i felt so flattered and loved. He surpassed on to the great beyond some weeks in the past (at no longer even a year previous) and that i'd do something to have my little "shadow" back following me everywhere. you should in worry-free words be so fortunate.

I don't know how a television show changed the way your life was, but anyway, in my experience with doing unto others as they would do unto me...well, it's gone pretty well, becuase if you learn to respect others, they will, in return respect you. It doesn't necessarily make you a whimp; for example, if someone turned around & slapped you across your face, you don't have to slap them back, because by doing that, it only shows your weakness & that person may be getting a kick out of the fact that you are getting upset over it...you never know...I have always lived by the saying: "What goes around comes around"...

It takes a strong person to treat people with respect, even in the face of ignorance. I don't think you are strong enough to follow the golden rule. So why don't you just be a bada.ss. You could go around kicking dogs, take candy from babies and molest young boys. These are weak jobs that you might be able to handle...maybe.

Making decisions because you think people will think you're a wimp, I think is a wimp. What you do should not be based on pleasing other people, but on what is right. Because if you live your life trying to make people not think you're a wimp, then you're not being yourself and according to me is the whole definition of a wimp. Also, 'doing unto others as you have them to unto you' doesn't mean to become a dormat, but it means to make things fair between yourself and others.

That's the Golden Rule and it's a good sound guiding principle in life. TV shows are just figment of the imagination of the writers and they are written mainly to entertain us , no more no less. Trouble seems to follow you, maybe it's time to talk it over with Trouble.

Not so is exactly what it is. I do unto others and treat them as I would like to be treated and 95% of the time I get treated fine. When I don't - I let them know it and tear them a new one. Treating others as decent human beings doesn't mean you don't stick up or take care of yourself.

'Doing unto others as you would have them do unto you" doesn't make you a wimp. It makes you a decent human being who has enough moral fiber to not get caught up in other people's idiotic behaviors.

"I think doing onto others as you have them do on to you makes you a whimp! "

What if you would accept being hit in the face? It is therefore ok to hit others in the face and you would not be a wimp.

You are misapplying the principle.
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, Until they give you a reason to do unto them as they have done to you.
