When I had my first child the woman in the bed next to me had a 4 lbs baby and believe it or not mother and baby went home after only 3 days in the hospital.
Also ultra sounds can be off by a pound or two. Your baby will gain weight between now and Oct probably a pound at least.
I can not comment on what your actual due date is as I do not know what an LMP is.

Low birth weight is under 5 and a half pounds. Ultrasounds can be off by a pound either way, though. I would stick with the EDD that you got from ultrasound. It's the most accurate generally.

If i understand you correctly you are saying that it is predicted that your baby at full term will weigh 4.2 pounds?

If that is correct - yes that is a low weight. Not really dangerous but just low. But what does the doctor say? Are you and the baby's father tiny? As long as the baby is healthy and full-term then she will be okay. Are you eating enough? 2 to 4 pounds of gain in what is normal during pregnancy. Rest and drinking enough fluids is also important. Good luck!

That sounds fine. The closer to term you get, the more the baby gains. You really can't predict the size of a baby, because they grow at their own rate. I have known of healthy babies being born everywhere from five or six pounds to ten and thirteen pounds. Genetics is the biggest factor in that. Find out what you and your siblings weighed, then do the same with the baby's father and his siblings. You''ll have a close idea.

You are good. My son was due November 3, I had him October 18. I went into premature labour at 34 weeks, it stoped, but they did Bio physical profiles every week for 3 weeks. At 34 weeks, my baby was around 5lbs 3oz, and when I delivered at 37weeks 5 days, he was 6lbs, 5oz. The last few weeks, your baby gains 1-2 oz a day. Congrats. maybe are kids will share the same birthday, Libras are great!

check out this website... it gives an estimate for each week of what the baby should weigh.. keep in mind the weight of the baby varies greatly in the last trimester... at 38 weeks my doc said the baby was about 5.5 or 6 pounds.. so she's small... but nothing to worry about

If the doctors felt that the baby was in danger of not weighing enough they would tell you.

I'm sure everything is fine and if this your first baby; which it sounds like it is, your just worried like any mom would be. If you are worried talk to your doctor and they will answer any questions or worries that you have.

expected birth weight should be around 6 - 8 pounds. That is if I'm reading your question right.

It sounds like a fine weight. The doctor will tell if they are concerned.
