Nothing terribly dangerous happened to me, but when I lived in central Chester in a home converted from army barracks, I was quite convinced I was never alone. It wore me down, coming home after work hoping my flatmate would be in, or I'd usually be straight up to my bedroom where an enormous Saltire both reminded me of a better place and had a cross on it - just in case. There were recurring noises from the other side of the walls, from an empty house, where parties seemed to take place. Always the same chairs sreeching across a wooden floor, the same voices.. A visitor went mad after sleeping in the downstairs living room just once, dozens of wasps seemed to be like drowning in the bathroom for no reason.. But the only real sightings were experienced by my Irish flatmate - so when I moved I left with my scepticism somewhat intact.

When I was young, and I mean really young, I was convinced spirits were around me all the time, and I could communicate with them. But I didn't really understand what it was. Among them was a wolflike figure I felt a deep fear of, the sort of fear you have when a drugs go beyond your own control. Once I had told my older sister about this, and she explained what she thought it was, I got scared of all the things and lying in bed alone one night I shouted "I hate ghosts and monsters! And the wolf too!". Whereupon everyhting went crazy in my room, until it died down and it was only the wolf left. He told me a few things about life that I instantly forgot, though every now and then I see it in a deja-vu when apparently I need reminding. Even thinking about it I get cold, though I am aware of how crazy this all sounds. Still, I think in one way I'm sheltered from hauntings and the like, and cynical about it all. In another though, I know that if I elaborate on this post too much I might get another reminder tonight.

6 years ago we moved into this Barn Conversion (16th century) here in Cornwall South West England. In our second paddock 18 feet beneath the ground are the remains of a 13th century monastery. After we had been in here about 3 months, I was awoke at 3am in the morning by crashing and smashing as if someone had toppled over the dresser in the kitchen ...upon investigation nothing had been disturbed - two months later we were awoke by the clatter of a horse driven carriage racing into the courtyard - again nothing to be seen.

Very often we would turn around in the kitchen as see knives spinning on the counter - take digital pics day or night and see orbs everywhere.... and recently I was out in the barn when I saw a figure of a nun walking into the orchard, I raced after it and it frightened me because it stopped and asked "Why do you follow me kind sir"... without thinking (and shocked at being challenged by a ghost) I could only reply "but it is you that followed me", the figure replied "I think not dear sir, that for which I seek has now long since gone" the figure then disappeared.

When it got to the point of of Mirrors in the house exploding (and cut my partners face) we had to get specialist help - - it turned out we had (9) entities in the property, 7 were removed but we are still living with the remaining two thank god we very rarely see or hear them, but sense them only now and again!

True story!

I have full story/history all documented if anyone interested in knowing more - email me for details.

I have had some paranormal events take place in my life. Just recently I had a kitten that was killed by my dogs, and I see her from time to time in the house.

Well, my Dad's ghost has been hanging around the house now for 6 years. I suspect he's waiting for my Mom to die. Sometimes he's here at this house, sometimes at the other house.

I wouldn't use the term "dangerous"- when you see a ghost just ask "How can I help you?"

They're just lost between heaven and hell, so give them some help ok?

My deceased mother-in-law left my husband and I two dogs. We lived in his parents house after they died.

Whenever I disciplined the dogs, pictures had a habit of falling of walls in the room we were in. We have since moved, and it has never happened in the new house.

She really loved those dogs, and we joke now that she was trying to tell me about my behavior.

One early morning about 1 am . I was watching t.v. . it was quiet in side and out. It started to rain , I got up to close my window and behind me I felt a slight touch on my shoulder, I jumped and almost yelled. I looked . I saw no one. I felt that touch for a little bit more then there saw nothing.
