No, the world is definitely not safer since 9/11 and it appears it never, ever will be as long as groups try to impose their beliefs on others by using force. This applies not only to groups but as is obvious to countries that enslave their people and use brain washing tactics to get their way.

I don't think it's any safer. If anything, it's worse. We are so worried about upsetting any particular group of ppl that we are allowing many groups to get away with many illegal activities. We have most of our military troops in Iraq which is leaving our homeland virtually unprotected. American citizens are on a constant state of alert after the attacks of 9/11. Our officers are trying to protect us by enforcing new, stricter laws but all that is doing is making all the innocent ppl in the world feel even more attacked.

at least the USA is safer...i also think the world is, people are getting tired of the senseless killing of innocents. when the last terrorist is dead, it will be time for the world to celebrate.
