NASA should hire me, I'd help clean house. Okay, but seriously, they have a lot of incompetents working there. Do you see how education is our future? Well NASA is reflecting how the American education system is in the slumps-- it's not what it used to be. The people working for NASA aren't the same ones that we had back when we went to the moon.

In any case, I am a huge supporter of the space program and will stick with NASA through thick and thin. Unlike the other bandwagon people who are only into the space program when they're about to make a "giant leap for mankind". I'll always follow them along their journey through explorations, including their trials and errors.

Sorry, I went off topic, but to answer your question.... no, I don't think we'll launch tomorrow. I guess it's better to be safe than sorry, huh?

NASA is turning into a bunch of wimps from the standpoint of your average American that knows close to nothing about interstellar travel.

But as I am the exact opposite of that I can say that precautions in things like this are completely necessary. If they feel that something is wrong with the launch/mission then they should take all precautions necessary to make sure nothing goes wrong. We don't want to waste billions of dollars in taxes. BTW, if you're wondering about what I say about the Discovery incident there was nothing they could do about it really, I mean they had no way of going on a spacewalk to replace the damaged tile with complete safety.

Of course even just a bad weld can cause a catastrophe in the exploration of outer space and things we do regarding it. We can't invest billions of dollars just for some uncoordinated fireworks show that takes 6-8 lives with it.

But I think it won't lauch tomorrow, they're gonna have to wait until the end of the hurricane season or at least until October since that is when the weather starts to clear up a bit.

I hope it does, the space industry and NASA deserve and need our support. Unfortunately, detractors use such events (launches scrubbed for safety) as points to criticize rather than to extol the careful nature of the department, We need more science and exploration, not less. My tax dollars are much better spent there than helping some crack baby.

If I had to bet I would say no. They're bouncing off walls down at NASA right now with all the problems they've been having.

Who knows. Maybe if they get everything working right it will. It seems like shuttle lauches are never on schedule.
