Call me old-fashioned but while attending a football game at my old high school, I see dozens of teenage girls dressed very provocatively; short skirts, etc.

Now, if they were college students over the age of 18, then there really isn't a problem. However, if I had a teenage daughter, she would be FORBIDDEN to wear the kind of scantily clad crap that's out on the market today.

So am I alone in my prudish thoughts or are there others that agree with me? Last year at a football game, I saw a girl no older than say, 13, wearing a belly button piercing with an incredibly short top and skirt. Tsk, tsk, tsk.

You're not alone in your thinking. I see these "madonna wannabe's" all the time in the malls and shopping centers. I've dealt with a few of them and got to know a few of them and I asked them how they get away with dressing like that, and the overwhelming answer is they wear proper clothes around thier house but when they leave they either carry a change of clothes in a bag/purse or wear them underneath the acceptable clothing and switch when away from the house.

I once saw a young female at the mall, I'm guessing maybe 15 or so wearing very loose blue jeans and no underwear. How do I know she had no underwear on? I could see the upper portion of her pubic area! I was absolutely shocked. She knew it and did not seem to care. I thought that was the worst I'd ever seen until a few weeks later when I see another teen girl again maybe 14 or so, wearing a very short skirt sitting on a bench in the mall intentionally "flashing" older men by spreading her legs as they walked by and then laughing with her friends at the reaction.

These girls do this kind of thing because it gets them attention, and when someone goes too far by raping one of them, I have to wonder if it's a tragedy or getting what you asked for?

So, All I can say is, You dress like a ho, you get treated like a ho.

Well as far as being pierced goes 13 is a bit young for anything other than the ears...but that's just me...I too have to marvel at the teenage fashion these days...When I used to work at the mall I would see tons of teen girls with boobs and butt popping out of their clothing and had to wonder who bought that crap for them?? And how can their parents let them go out like that?? I'm all for dressing sexy but at 13 the last thing that I would want is some pervy old man talking about how he'd tap dat a$$. Because that is all the attention that they are getting!

PS~ I'm only 19

You are so right. I'm a 16 year old girl, I'm slim, tall, and I have the choice to dress in just a miniskirt and a bra. But I don't even own a mini-skirt and my shirts cover my waist fully. And it's comfortable. You don't have to dress in nothing to look good.

No your not alone but the reason they want to dress that way is because every where they look they are being told that being sexy is more important than anything.

All schools should have uniforms, less hassle with slutty girls parading around school and guys with pants hanging around their knees.
