You are never too young to worry about the future. Listen to them because if you start preparing now, then you will do excellent on the SAT which will get you into a good college. Then when you get a job, you will make some major paper (money).

Stop worrying!
The SAT is not the determining factor of your future.
Should you blow it off? No.
But you have years before you need to even begin studying, you can take the test as many times as you want till you get a score you like, and most colleges care more about your GPA than your SAT scores.
Also, your teacher sucks! And, I mean no offense, but it sounds like your parents do to. Who in their right mind would push a fifth grader so hard about something so far off? Tell all of them to shove off (you may want to be politer), and let you enjoy your youth, it's short enough already!

Trust me, you have plenty of years before you need to worry about the SAT. most people don't start preparing until they are sophomores or juniors in high school. I'm sure the schoolwork you are doing now is preparing you already. Just try your best in school and don't worry about those things now; you'll have plenty of time to do that when you're older!

Calm down! The SAT is years away! Just take school seriously and make sure you have time to have fun too.

Once you get to be in the tenth or eleventh grade, take the PSAT so you know where you stand as far as your scoring goes and study extra accordingly.

dude..... first of all... calm down. it's not a big deal. I'm in 7th grade, i had experiance. First the teachers scare the h*ll out of u, then near the test, the teachers are like don't worry relax have a piece of candy. and when u take the test, it's actually very easy. theres nothing really 2 worry about as long as u blieve in yourself and study hard. don't worry. *wink*

Your worried because you think its very difficult, but you still have more learning to do and by the time you reach the SAT you will know more than you do now so dont sweat it you'll be fine tell your teacher he/she is on crack

Take a deep breath and tell your teacher to chill. If he/she is doing his/her job and giving you a decent grounding in reading, writing, and math skills, you'll be fine.

The best thing you can do to improve your SAT performance is read a wide variety of books. A good vocabulary and understanding of how to put a sentance together will get you far.

Honey you are too young to be worrying about the SATs. Talk to your parents explain to them that 5th grade to to soon to think about them. Tell them that they are pressuring you to much and this is hurting you.
